Alvah N. Belding Memorial Library

WELCOME TO ANBL

A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR:

Good morning, Friends,

As the situation in our country due to COVID-19 continues to unfold, we have been forced to make some hard decisions concerning the library. In response to COVID-19, ANBL is taking several steps to protect our staff and the general public-in particular the high-risk populations we serve and the high-risk populations who work and volunteer for the library. In the interest of mitigating the impact of the virus and in an effort to do our part to level the curve, the library is closed to public access and staff has been sent home where they will work remotely. We have sealed our drop box, so please hold on to any library materials you have at home until the library reopens. All due dates have been extended through April 6, but the date will continue to be extended as needed. All fines have been waived while we are closed. We are monitoring the library's email and Facebook page, so if you have questions, please use one of those channels to contact us. In addition, we will be regularly updating our website, blog, Instagram, Goodreads, Pinterest Boards, and Facebook feed, so please visit our digital outlets for library news and engagement. I'd also like to remind you that Overdrive, Libby, and RB Digital are still active, so you have access to digital books, audiobooks, and magazines 24 hours. Please stay in, stay safe, and look out for yourselves and those around you. We hope to see you all soon.
Britney Dillon, Library Director
